The Situation: In this major plc, a Finance professional was struggling to make effective presentations to line managers. This hindered their impact on their section of the business. We were asked to help improve their confidence and enhance their presentation skills.
What we did: We tailored a programme for the individual based on initial discussions with their line manager. On the day itself, other issues emerged, so what had started as a simple skills development process became a more broadly based coaching session.
The Outcome:
Subsequent liaison with the client confirmed the appropriateness of the approach taken and follow-on work was scheduled to continue the individual’s development.
